1. JOB INFORMATION

Job Title: Management Interns – Aftersales

Division: Agribusiness

Department: Agri Mechanization

Section / Unit: Aftersales

Reports to: Aftersales Manager

Work station: Nakuru

Direct Reports: N/A

Indirect Reports:N/A

2. JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the Case Division internship program is:

  • Exposure of top university/ college students pursuing relevant courses (engineering, Business, Computer science etc) to industry experience in aftersales (Parts Business)

3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

Operational Responsibilities

a. Undertake market and price surveys and analysis

b. Participate in preparations and organization of marketing events and prepare event reports

c. Undertake parts demand analysis

d. Prepare parts sales trend reports

e. Attend to customer enquiries and prepare contact report

f. Propose process improvements

g. On-job training (OJT) through guidance by sales executives and aftersales manager

h. Learn about agri mechanization

i. Comply with standard operating procedures (SOP) and Anzen standards

j. Document the training progress on the training work log and ensure periodic review by supervisor

4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role

  • Degree in Agricultural / Automotive / Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or Business from a recognised institutions (Final year students or new graduates)

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

  • Computer Skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Good communication skills
