1. JOB INFORMATION

Job Title: Management Interns – Sales

Division: Agribusiness

Department: Agri Mechanization

Section / Unit: Sales

Reports to: Sales Manager

Workstation: Nakuru

Direct Reports: N/A

Indirect Reports: N/A

2. JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the Case Division internship program is to:

  • Exposure of top university/ college students pursuing relevant courses (engineering, Business, Computer science etc) to industry experience in sales and marketing

3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

Operational Responsibilities

a. Undertake market and price surveys/ analysis

b. Participate in preparation ,organization of marketing events and prepare event reports

c. Product positioning ,analysis and comparison with competition

d. Prepare Industry and specific product sales trend reports

e. Attend to customer enquiries and prepare contact reports

f. Propose process improvements and actively participate in both classroom and practical training sessions

g. On-job training (OJT) through guidance by sales executives and sales manager

h. Learn about Agri mechanization industry .

i. Comply with standard operating procedures (SOP) and Anzen standards

j. Document the training progress on the training work log and ensure periodic review by supervisor

4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role

  • Degree in Agricultural /Automotive/Mechanical /Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering or Business from a recognised
    institutions (Final year students or new graduates)

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

  • Computer Skills – Word, Excel, Power point
  • Good communication skills
